We don’t accept telephone orders so you’ll need to place your order on
this web site.
Pick your lens from the search page.
You can use the search filters on the left side of the page to help you
find what you're looking for. You can click on the green "Select" button
to add it to your basket, or click on the name of the lens or its
picture to view further information about the lens. Use the Hire Period
pull-down in the left sidebar to select the right number of days hire.
The price shown includes insurance and VAT.
Each lens page contains an availability calendar showing the days we have
plenty of them available (green), which days we only have a few left
(yellow), and which days we don’t have any available (red). Please
remember to check that the lens is available for the whole of your hire
period, plus transit time at either end.
Add one or more lenses to your basket, using the links provided in the
product summary, or the green button on the detailed information page
for each lens.
You can view the contents of your basket
by clicking the "Your Basket" menu at the top of the page and then
selecting the "View your basket" option. You can also check the availability
of the items in your basket by selecting the "View availability" option.
The basket page allows you to set the hire start date and duration.
This allows us to do a detailed availability check to make sure the
lenses you want to hire are available. The
basket availability
page allows you to check the availability of all the equipment in your
basket in one fell swoop. But don't worry - we'll check all that for
you anyway.
The basket page also allows you to remove items, duplicate items,
specify delivery and return options and the delivery location. If you've
got a discount code, you can add it here. We automatically apply certain
other discounts, for example a £5 discount when hiring an extender and
compatible lens and a 5% discount when hiring 3 or more lenses.
When you're ready to checkout, click on the green "continue" button at
the bottom of the basket page. If you've ordered from us before then
you can login to your user account (if you're already logged in then we
skip over this step entirely). Don't worry if you don't know or can't
remember your password - we can help
you reset it. If you haven't ordered from us before then you'll be
asked to provided some basic details to register. We'll send you an
email message with a link in it. Clicking on that link will complete
your registration and allow you to choose a password.
You'll then be prompted to enter your delivery and billing addresses.
If you've ordered from us before then you can select your current
address (or one of your current addresses if you have more than one) or
add a new address. Please note that the billing address must be the
registered address for your payment card. We can deliver to the billing
address, or to a workplace address so long as we are able to verify it.
We are not able to deliver to a different person like a friend or aunt,
or to a different address such as a holiday rental.
Following that we'll ask you for a contact number. Feel free to enter
multiple telephone numbers (mobile, work, home, etc). You can also add
any other relevant contact information: your web site, Facebook page,
and so on.
The checkout page displays a summary of all your order details, along
with the all-important checkbox that you must click on to confirm that
you have read and agree to be bound by our
Terms and Conditions. Clicking on
the continue button will take you to the final payment page.
The final step is to enter your payment card details and place the
order.
You’ll receive an automated acknowledgment of your order. Then when we’ve
processed it and checked that everything’s OK, you’ll receive another email
(written by a person, not a machine) confirming the details of the hire.
