We read somewhere that fishing is the UK's most popular "participation sport", so now you can join in too. On a full-frame camera - 1DX, 1Ds series, 5D series, 6D, or even film - this 15mm fisheye lens produces an image with a 180-degree diagonal field of view. On cameras with smaller APS-C sensors the fisheye effect is reduced but the images are still amusingly distorted. And surprisingly sharp and free from defects such as chromatic aberration too - technical performance isn't the most important aspect of a lens like this, but the Canon 15mm delivers pretty well.
Great fun if you can get the hang of using it properly. If you're not quite sure whether or not this is the right fisheye lens for you, please check out our blog article "Which fisheye lens?" which illustrates the effects you get using different types of fisheyes on different types of cameras
